Read for Good 2026

Join the National Library Board's Read for Good 2026 charity reading drive from 6 September to 7 October 2026.

This family-friendly initiative invites everyone to read for just 15 minutes to help unlock $150,000 in funding for up to 10,000 beneficiaries, including kidsREAD, MINDS, and Preschool Market.

Whether you read individually via the ReadSG Challenge on Crowdtask or gather friends and family for a Read Together session (online or at a physical location), every minute counts.

NLB also offers public Read Together sessions for those who prefer a guided group experience. The event is free and open to all ages, making it a wonderful opportunity to cultivate a love for reading while giving back to the community.

Participants can choose their own reading material, from books to online articles, and NLB provides curated book lists for children, adults, and seniors.

All reading activities must be completed by 7 October 2026, with submissions accepted until 14 October 2026. No registration is required for individual participation, but group organisers can register their interest via the NLB website.

This is a simple yet meaningful way for families to bond over books and support a good cause.
