PLAY + MAKE: New exhibition at CMSG
PLAY + MAKE is the latest exhibition at the Children’s Museum Singapore, offering hands-on interactive fun inspired by the Into the Hawkerverse exhibition.
Children can engage in activities such as dressing mannequins, acting out stories, hosting a pretend kueh tea party, and exploring materials like fabric, wood, and rattan.
A quirky Maker’s Cabinet features unique items like a LEGO tingkat and Hokkien Mee-inspired shoes, adding a playful cultural twist.
The exhibition's activities will change throughout the year, introducing new elements like paper dolls, crockery design, and weaving projects to keep the experience fresh and engaging.
A parental guide, co-created with BRB Kids, is provided to help families turn playtime into meaningful moments of connection, creativity, and conversation, enhancing the overall educational and bonding experience.
The exhibition is free for Singaporeans and PRs, with standard rates of $10.90 per child and $16.35 per adult for others, making it an accessible cultural outing for families.
