Singapore Night Festival 2026: Myths & Legends

Singapore Night Festival 2026 returns for its 17th edition, transforming the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct into a nocturnal wonderland of myths and legends.

Over three weekends from 21 August to 5 September 2026, families can explore four festival hubs filled with immersive projections, interactive installations, and live performances.

Highlights include the Tales of Earth and Sea projection mapping on the National Museum of Singapore, the 70-minute walking trail The Lost Legacy of Fort Canning: The Forbidden Hill (ticketed at $60), and the MALAM Projection Mapping Competition at The Cathay.

Kids will love the community installation Once Upon A Time at Capitol Singapore, featuring animal sculptures made from recycled materials, and the playful Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis installations. Most activities are free, with some ticketed programmes.

The festival runs on Fridays and Saturdays from 7.30 pm to midnight, and Sundays to Thursdays from 7.30 pm to 11 pm. Perfect for families with children of all ages who enjoy outdoor night-time adventures and creative storytelling.
