Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival Light-Up

Chinatown lights up for the Mid-Autumn Festival with stunning lantern displays along major streets like New Bridge Road and South Bridge Road.

The centrepiece lantern, often towering several metres, delights families with themes featuring rabbits, mooncakes, and local motifs. The annual Chinatown Festive Fair at People's Park Square offers handcrafted lanterns, artisanal goodies, and mooncakes.

This free light-up runs from mid-September to October 2026, making it a perfect evening stroll for families. Kids will love the colourful overhanging lanterns and the festive atmosphere. No tickets required.
