Crosscurrents: Masterpieces of Mughal, Safavid, and Ottoman Art from the Musée du Louvre

This family-friendly exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum brings together 100 masterpieces from the Louvre's Islamic art collection alongside 30 Southeast Asian objects from ACM's own collection.

Explore the artistic exchanges between the Mughal, Safavid, and Ottoman empires through stunning objects like a jade cup owned by King Louis XIV, a mother-of-pearl ewer, and intricate Iznik ceramics.

A highlight for children is the 'Decorate Your Own Tile' stamping station, available on Levels 2 and 3, where kids can design a paper tile and add it to a communal display wall.

The exhibition runs from 19 June 2026 to 24 January 2027 at the Asian Civilisations Museum. General museum admission applies, with free entry for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
