The Story of Studio Ghibli Exhibition at Gardens by the Bay

The Story of Studio Ghibli makes its world premiere in Singapore at Gardens by the Bay's West Lawn from 18 December 2026 to 4 July 2027.

This immersive walk-through exhibition spans nearly 3,500 square metres, making it the largest presentation of the showcase to date.

Families can step inside 12 life-sized recreations of iconic worlds from beloved films such as My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and The Boy and the Heron.

Highlights include standing beside Totoro at the bus stop, exploring lantern-lit streets with an eight-metre-tall recreation of the Spirited Away bathhouse, coming face-to-face with a life-sized Ohmu, and walking through the mystical forest of Princess Mononoke.

The exhibition uses large-scale installations, interactive multimedia, and atmospheric projections to bring each scene to life, with themes of environmental stewardship, resilience, creativity, and kindness woven throughout.

Tickets are priced from S$29 for concessions (children aged 3-12 and seniors 65+) and S$39 for adults for Singapore citizens and permanent residents, with standard rates up to S$55.

Early Bird tickets purchased between 12 September and 17 December 2026 include an exclusive limited-edition gift for adult tickets. The venue is close to outdoor play areas and conservatories, making it easy to pair with a full day at Gardens by the Bay.
