The Secret Vault at New Bahru

The Secret Vault is a free interactive exhibition at New Bahru that takes visitors through the work of GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund. The walk-through is designed like a bank vault with themed chambers to explore.

Visitors check in at a reception counter, then enter The Archive, a room styled like a safe deposit box area that shares the story of GIC’s founding.

Other highlights include a supermarket-style shopping challenge about inflation, a multimedia Weather Room, a UV-torch maze, and a digital garden where visitors nurture a virtual plant.

The final rooms showcase brands and companies GIC invests in around the world, and invite reflection on safeguarding Singapore’s reserves for the future. The exhibition runs from 10 October to 1 November 2026 at the New Bahru L2 School Hall, 46 Kim Yam Road.

Opening hours vary by day: Mondays from noon to 6 pm, Tuesdays to Thursdays from 11 am to 7 pm, and Fridays to Sundays from 11 am to 8 pm, with last admission one hour before closing.

Admission is free but registration is required for a time slot, and participants will receive a QR code upon successful registration. The experience is recommended for persons aged 10 and above.
