Learning Gallery: New kids’ exhibition at Singapore Art Museum

The Learning Gallery at the Singapore Art Museum (SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark) has launched its second edition, presenting a child-friendly exhibition centered on the theme of 'Childhood'. The exhibition showcases works from five local artists, designed to engage young visitors in a calm, focused environment that encourages observation and interaction rather than high-energy play.

Among the featured pieces is David Chan's 'Animal Roulette', a collection of chimera animal figurines that invite children to identify mismatched body parts from different creatures. This playful artwork is complemented by an interactive activity where kids can construct their own hybrid animals. Additionally, the exhibition includes an interactive digital projection puzzle, offering a blend of tactile and digital engagement.

The exhibition is free to enter and will remain open until June 28, 2026. It provides a quiet, educational space for families to explore contemporary art, making it a suitable destination for those seeking a more reflective cultural experience with children.
