Fort Canning Centre: A Century of Transformation Exhibition

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Fort Canning Centre with the 'A Century of Transformation' exhibition, located in the building's lobby.

This exhibition traces the building's history from a British Army barracks to a squash centre, arts venue, and now home to the Fort Canning Heritage Gallery.

A highlight is a panoramic photograph taken in the 1950s by a young British soldier, George Tricker, who revisited the same spot in 2025 to capture the changed landscape. On the third floor, a display shows the 1950s view.

Part of the Heritage Festival, the exhibition runs from 5 September 2026 to 31 March 2027. Free admission. Suitable for all ages.
